Thanks man. It's a decent guitar and I'm looking to invest in a better one. A high quality guitar is usually made in the USA, built from a well known company such as Fender or Gibson, and has solid pickups. Most electric guitars use a standard type of pickup called humbringers and others use active pickups, such as EMGs, which are battery powered and are better for people who use a lot of drive in their tone (such as rock or metal players). The guitar I have is a BC Rich Ironbird Platinum series from either the late 90s or early 2000s. I'm looking for a Ibanez or similar type which has EMG pickups and a floyd rose tremelo or bridge.
