I was playing TF2 and some guy was saying that the other team lost because they had too many "noob demos."

The guy was playing soldier.

It doesn't take any skill the spam splash damage rockets as a soldier just like it doesn't take any skill to sticky spam as a demoman.

Some other guy decided to pipe up that the direct hit takes skill.

Maybe with airshots and at long range, but the large majority of people on the server were just spamming away.

I'm so glad the server wasn't alltalk because I'm pretty sure the guy's balls hadn't dropped.

I haven't played this week cause of the noob demomen and soldiers whoring achievements on this free weekend. So servers will be full of noob demos/sollys. Since that ends tommorow, less spam (cause who are we kidding, tf2 will never not have spam). Also, the direct hit is broken just now cause the mini crits don't work correctly right now. But it is a fact that the direct hit is made to reward players that have good aim. Just join games with class restrictions if you don't want to see people whine about spam and stuff like that.

@Jer. God damn you for reading my mind. lol

Was his name Fenrir?  (BUUUURN FEN FOR WHEN YOU READ THIS).

I hear you though Wiffy.  Valve is AMAZING at making balanced games.  TF2 and L4D (1 and 2) are the most evenly matched games I've ever played, which is why I'm such a fan.  Anyone who complains that a Valve game is off balanced or "cheap" is just mad that they aren't as good as the other person.  When each game has something to counter anything else in the game, no complaining should be allowed.
